Welcome to Canyon Crest Academy Lacrosse! Our hopes is that these pages will give you an
idea of what Canyon Crest Academy Lacrosse has to offer, the requirements to play
and all information needed to determine if Canyon Crest Lacrosse is the place for you.

Pre-Season Parent Meeting: Thursday, February 4th, 2010, 6:30pm, in the CCA Library.
MANDATORY Player Meeting: Thursday, February 11th, 2010, 3:30pm, in the Gym.
Pre-Season Parent Party: Saturday, February 20th, 2010, 6:30pm - 9:30pm - 4952 Flaxton Terrace, SD, CA 92130
Lacrosse Season:   SPRING  ( February 16 - May 22, 2010 )
Conditioning: Tuesday, February 16th to Friday, February 19th, 2010
Try-Outs: Saturday, February 20th, 2010
 We are a NO CUT program. Try-outs determine who makes the Varsity Squad.

We have both a Varsity and a Junior Varsity Program.
Our Junior Varsity Program will have just one JV team this year.

Each of the teams, Varsity and Junior Varsity, are allowed 20 points and two scrimmages.
A game is worth 1 point and a tournament is worth 2 points.
Both the Varsity and the JV teams will have two scrimmages this Spring prior to playing games that count.

The 2010 season will have our both our JV & Varsity playing 19 games and 2 scrimmages.

Our Athletic Trainer is Melody Hixson
Our program has access to an athletic trainer for both
practices and home games. She is San Diego State Trained.
She does not travel to away games. She determines whether or not
an injured player can re-enter a game or if he needs further medical
Attention. She handles all injuries from her training room on campus.
She also does some rehabilitation for minor injuries that occur
and gets our athlete's back on the field.

Our Athletic Director is Matthew McCullough
He is one of the easiest people to work with and has done wonders
for our program. If the coach doesn't have the answer,
he surely does or will find out quickly. The Athletics Secretary is Stacy Candia.
She handles all grade checks, athletic packets,
bus scheduling, game field scheduling, travel and fee collection.

Our Team Photographers are Barry Weinstein & Doug Hoffman
Our program produces an end of the year slide show to be played during the awards night.
We are seeking a new Junior Varsity photographer for shooting action photos of our JV team.
They are volunteers and greatly appreciated by the program. The slide show is also a fund raiser.
