Canyon Crest Boys Lacrosse Team
Player Requirements

The following is a list of
requirements that we ask all athlete's
to adhere to if they are planning to play Boys Lacrosse at Canyon Crest Academy.
REQUIRED PLAYER FEES
These fees go to pay for the following: Our Trainer, Assistant Coaches, Referee Fees, Spirit Packs for New Players, mouth pieces, Balls,
Nets, Horns, strings, replacement uniforms, tournament fees, water bottles,
awards, our team banquet, new team helmets and all
miscellaneous team supplies. The school pays for the Head Coaches only...nothing
else.
New Players: $535.00
$135.00 for spirit pack, $100.00 for away game bussing and $300.00 for the player fee...
Spirit Pack
Includes: A team bag, your Practice Shorts and your UnderArmor shirts (2)
Returning Players: $400.00
PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
1. A 2.0 Grade Point Average must be maintained.
2. A completed athletic packet. (An Athletic Clearance Card will be issued and
MUST be turned in to the Coach)
3. A physical examination prior to try-outs.
4. Must sign a player contract.
5. Must participate in all practices and games during the season.
6. Must participate in all fundraising activities.
7. Must have a personal Email address, know how to use it and check it daily.
8. Must be able to budget time effectively between lacrosse, homework, school
work & home life.
9. 100% effort is required during all practices and games.
10. Must show sportsmanship both on and off the field.
11. Must maintain a positive attitude at all times.
12. Must be able to put team goals in front of personal goals.
13. Must provide his own stick, cleats, cup, jock, socks & compression shorts.
14. Must be able to travel to away games by bus.
15. Must be honest & respectful.
EQUIPMENT
The school has some equipment available for athletes to use during the season.
Equipment will be loaned to players in need to use for the season. This
equipment must be turned
in at the conclusion of the season in working order. Lost equipment must be
purchased. Players have
the option of using their own equipment but they must meet the outlined
requirements of color.
Below is a list of equipment required while playing at Canyon Crest Academy.
Required
Equipment to Play CIF Lacrosse
These items are required to play CIF lacrosse.
1. Stick
2. Helmet (matching color)
3. Arm Pads (matching color)
4. Shoulder Pads
5. Gloves (matching color)
6. Mouthpiece (team issues these - red)
7. Uniform
8. Cleats (molded or screw in - no metal)

Owned Equipment
These
items are purchased on your own or through the team and are required by our
team.
In regards to a stick, check with the coach first before purchasing one.
Please contact the coach before
you purchase any outside equipment.

3. Black Ankle Socks (we wear ankle high black socks with absolutely no markings
on them)
4. Black Compression shorts (worn under the uniform shorts and your jock/cup)

8. Team Practice Shorts
