Welcome to the official website of the Great Western Lacrosse Camp. We are the original west coast lacrosse camp. We were founded in 1984 by Russ Olsen and Tom Hannum through the Physical Education Department at San Diego State University. Our first year, 29 young lacrosse players attended the first lacrosse camp to be formed on the west coast. Every year since, the number of dedicated athlete's has increased, currently reaching 250+, and in the summer of 2008, we will celebrate our 25th year of teaching lacrosse. Please feel free to browse the different sections of our camp, they should give you all the information you will need to make a valued judgment on where to send your young lacrosse player this summer. Our camp is the finest in the west and we can absolutely guarantee that we have the best teaching staff around and the fact that we have been providing this camp to the western lacrosse community for 24 years, proves we keep safety as our highest concern and our teaching methods on the cutting edge.
