The Carmel Valley Cup was formed before the 2007 Lacrosse season to create a friendly rivalry between the two High Schools within Carmel Valley, Canyon Crest Academy and Cathedral Catholic High School. The school's will play once each year at both the Junior Varsity and the Varsity levels for the coveted
"Carmel Valley Cup".
