GOALIE CAMP FORMAT

 Our goalie camp also includes the teaching camp in the camp fee.
 Goalies arrive a day before the teaching camp players and spend
 six session learning goalie specific skills. These skills include
 shot blocking, communication, crease play, clearing, playing the
 arc and directing a defense. As the main camp starts drills that
 require a goalie, they will be integrated into the teaching camp
 with the goalie coaches monitoring them as they compete in the
 drills.
 The play at our camp is controlled and structured. We do not
 allow body checking at any time during camp. Over aggressive
 play is dealt with immediately.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our Goalie camp has two divisions
Division 1
 This is the high school division and is for players in grades 9 - 12.
 Many college coaches will be on staff for this division. This
 division handles all levels of experience, from novice to
 advanced. If a 9th grader is brand new to the game and is
 struggling in division 1, he can be moved to division 2 if the staff
 and the Goalie Director feel it will benefit the player. All players in
 this division will be assigned to a team for game play at the end
 of the week. The top three goalies will be selected from this
 group to play in the Division 1 Staff versus Camper game. All
 Division 1 goalies will participate in a shot blocking contest
 during our skills contests.
Division 2
 This is the middle school division and is for players in grades
3rd to 8th. We have some of the best teaching coaches in this
 division. This division handles all levels of experience, from
 novice to advanced as well. If an 8th grader is very advanced in
 his skills, he can be moved up to division 1 to play against better
 players. The staff and the Director make it their mission to get
 each player in the right place so they properly learn and have
 some success. All players in this division will be assigned to a
 team for game play at the end of the week. The top three goalies
 will be selected from this group to play in the Division 2 Staff
 versus Camper game. All Division 2 goalies will participate in
a shot blocking contest during our skills contests. The two
 youngest goalies will play in the Staff versus Camper game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Our Director and our staff go above and beyond what most camps
 do in regards to evaluating player skill level. It is vital to the
 player that he is in the right group when learning. Our first day at
 camp is spent evaluating players during drills so we can match
 them with the proper teaching groups and move them
 immediately if their experience and skill level dictates. This
 behind the scenes discipline is what sets us apart from the rest.
 We hope to see your son at goalie camp this summer. You better
 register early as this camp is very popular and usually fills up
 around mid April. Take a chance with us, we won't let you down.
