INJURIES

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All injuries will be handled by the Trainer! Injuries requiring medical attention will be taken to Alvarado Hospital, which is located ¼ mile from campus. Kaiser facilities are located just a few miles away. If treatment is needed, parents will be notified immediately by cell phone. At Great Western, our number one concern is for player safety, so we do not allow body checking or over aggressive play at our camp. Medical insurance coverage is the responsibility of the parents. Our camp is fully insured and can be used as secondary coverage. Our carrier is the US Lacrosse Insurance Program handled by the Bollinger, Inc. We have had no serious injuries in our 28 years of operation. We have certified athletic trainers on staff and most of our coaches are CPR & First Aid certified as well. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to call the Director.
