WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

All Overnight Campers MUST bring a linens/pillow for their bed.

Either a sleeping bag, or sheets & a blanket with a pillow. â€‹

DEADLINESAll of the following areas have a deadline of July 4th, 2025.


1. Dietary Restriction - please send me an Email of any dietary issues

                                                                         (Vegan, Vegetarian, No Gluten, No Nuts, etc.)

2. Rental Gear - If you would like to rent any gear, please send me an email detailing what you need.

                            Limited stock and sizes available.

3. Any New Roommate Requests - Most of you already gave roommate info in the registration material. If you have any changes, they must be Emailed to me by the deadline or they stay where they are.

 

4. Remaining Fees

If you just paid the deposit for camp of $475.00, you will need to pay the remaining fee. The link to pay is in the email that was sent with this booklet. All Remaining fees are due by July 4th, 2025. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 late fee assessed. Here is the Link to pay

VERY IMPORTANT
All Overnight Campers MUST bring bedding and a pillow. Bring sheets and a blanket or a sleeping bag. Do not forget your pillow.

Please feed you son before Check-In as we do not provide a meal on the first evening of camp.

 

CAMP CHECK-IN

Check-In will be between 5:00pm & 5:30pm on WEDNESDAY, JULY 16th.

 

All CAMP PARTICIPANTS, BOTH DAY & OVERNIGHT CAMPERS, MUST ATTEND CHECK IN.

Check-In will take place at the North Commons Dormitory on the Campus of Cal State University, San Marcos.

The Address of the Dormitory is 186 E Barham Drive, San Marcos, CA 92096.

The parking is located underneath the Dormitory. Enter the parking area from June Way. Parents should accompany their campers.

Once you park, bring your bags/gear and walk out of the parking Structure the way you came in, walk around to the front of the building, entrance is at the middle the block. 

 

The Wednesday evening session will end at 9:00pm. Day Campers will be ready for pick up on the street in front of the dorm at 9:30pm on Wednesday night.

 

CAMP CHECK-OUT

Check-out is at 10:30am on SUNDAY, JULY 20th, at the dorm. No early check-outs.  Check out is the same place at Check in.

 

DAY CAMPERS

Day Campers will be dropped off each day at the Dormitory no later than 8:30am. We call Roll at 8:45am. Pick-up is at the dormitory and is between 9:30 & 10:30pm. 

 

YOU MUST CALL 415-298-2144 when you arrive at the dorm, we will bring them down.

 

Day Campers are not allowed to drive a private vehicle to camp each day, they must be dropped off.

We will supply a room for all day campers to use while at camp. Here they can store their equipment between session, use the bathroom, change, hang out, etc.

 

CAMP STORE
We will have a camp store at camp in the dorm where players can purchase equipment, apparel, lacrosse accessories, food, snacks and drinks. You can open a camp account for your son to use while at camp. Here he can access the money through his room key, to buy various things through the week. He can’t lose it or gamble it. Any money not used will be returned at check-out.

Parking at CSU San Marcos

The bottom floor of the parking structure behind the dorm allows you 90 minutes of free parking. You will be OK to park here for check-in and check-out.

During Check-In and Check-Out, you will use Parking Structure 2.

 

DIRECTIONS TO CHECK-IN

From the 15 Freeway, Take Hwy 78 West...
From the 5 Freeway, Take Hwy 78 East...

 

Exit the 78 Freeway at Twin Oaks Valley Road and go SOUTH...
Turn LEFT on Barham Drive...  Turn left on June Way...

Turn Right into Parking Structure 2...  Park on the first floor as close to the structure entrance as possible and then travel around the building to the front door. We will be on the 2nd floor.

 

CAMP RULES
All lacrosse playing will take place on the lacrosse fields and not near the dorm.
Anyone caught breaking the rules of camp will be sent home without refund!

-Lacrosse Shorts (2) / Sweat Pants / Sweat Shirt / non-lacrosse Shirts & Shorts for the Week

-Sneakers


-Alarm Clock / Play Station Games (if you want)

 

​-LACROSSE GEAR - Helmet / Gloves / Shoulder Pads / Arm Pads / Stick / Cup & Jock

-Large Water Bottle with your name on it

 

**Bring a trash bag to be used as a hamper while at camp

 

***Do NOT bring any lacrosse balls to camp. They will be confiscated!

 

VERY IMPORTANT REMINDERS

1. Make sure you feed your son prior to checking into the dorms. We do not supply a meal on the first night of camp.

 

2. Day Campers - feed them a good breakfast before you drop them off each day.

 

3. Bring at least two towels, three would be best. 

 

4. If your son takes medication, he will have to self-medicate, while at camp. The trainer and the coaches are not allowed to administer anything other than gold bond and ice. The trainer can hold Epi-pens and inhalers while they are on the field.

DIRECTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY AND THE DORMITORY

From Orange County

Take Interstate 5 South to the 78 Freeway East. Travel about 10 miles and take exit 13, Twin Oaks Valley Road. Turn right. Turn Left on E. Barham Drive. Take the 1st left on June Way. Take an immediate right into Parking Structure 2. The dorm is on your right as you enter the parking structure. You will have to leave the parking structure on foot, travel around the building to get to the front door of the Dorm. (There is no access directly from the parking structure into the dorm.

From Temecula 

Take Interstate 15 South to the 78 Freeway West. Travel about 2 miles and take exit 13, Twin Oaks Valley Road. Turn Left. Turn Left on E. Barham Drive. Take the 1st left on June Way. Take an immediate right into Parking Structure 2. The dorm is on your right as you enter the parking structure. You will have to leave the parking structure on foot, travel around the building to get to the front door of the Dorm. (There is no access directly from the parking structure into the dorm.

From East San Diego County

Take Interstate 8 West to Interstate 15 North. Travel about 30 miles to Hwy 78 West. Travel about 2 miles and take exit 13, Twin Oaks Valley Road. Turn Left. Turn Left on E. Barham Drive. Take the 1st left on June Way. Take an immediate right into Parking Structure 2. The dorm is on your right as you enter the parking structure. From San Diego

Take Hwy 163 North. Merge onto Interstate 15 North. Travel about 20 miles to Hwy 78 West. Travel about 2 miles and take exit 13, Twin Oaks Valley Road. Turn Left. Turn Left on E. Barham Drive. FINAL COMMENTS
Thank you in your interest in a sport that we love so much. It is our quest to provide the best possible teaching medium and training opportunity for all young lacrosse players in the west, no matter what level of experience they may be. Any information and/or ideas that you can give us on how to make the camp better, please feel free to drop us a note anytime during the year. Our main goals are to spread our love, knowledge & enthusiasm of this great sport; work hard to get young players an education through the sport and lastly, get you all hooked and having fun!
