THE YOUNG GUNS CAMP

The Young Guns Camp begins at 8:30am on Thursday, July 25th, on the campus of California State University, San Marcos. Our Young Guns Camp is for players in grades 2nd thru 4th. This is a day camp with each day consisting of 2 sessions with lunch provided between them. Each day, players are dropped off at the field at 8:30am and then picked up again at the field at 4:30pm. We will take care of them throughout the day. Lunch at the cafeteria will be provided. This is a teaching camp geared to improve your fundamentals, individual and team skills and to have some fun. We teach all levels.  This camp ends on Saturday, July 27th at 4:30pm.

YOUNG GUNS CAMP FEES
$375.00 - Day Camp ONLY
Pay $375.00 after you fill out the online registration to secure a spot in the Young Guns Camp.
Space is limited to 20 players.

ELIGIBILITY

Boys who finished 2nd thru 4th grades in June 2024. If your son is younger, please call the Director. No experience necessary.

All players must be a member of US Lacrosse.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
All campers must register online this year by clicking the RED BOX located at the TOP on this page. Registration includes all forms filled out online and payment of the full payment by MasterCard, American Express or Visa. A confirmation Email will be sent on receipt of your online registration as proof of payment. You will get another email 3 weeks prior to camp starting, with details.

YOUNG GUN CAMPER CHECK IN EACH DAY
July 25th - 8:30am - First Day Check-In is at Mangrum Field. First Day Check-out is at 4:30pm at the field.

July 26th - 9:00am - Check-In is at Mangrum Field. Lunch Provided. Check-Out at 4:30pm at the field.

July 27th - 9:00am - Last Day Check-In is at Mangrum Field. Lunch Provided. Check-Out at 4:30pm at the field.

 

Between practice sessions, all young guns will go to the dormitory where they will have a room to put their equipment. We will all have lunch at 12noon. There will be free time after lunch. Players will have access to the play station lounge, the camp store and the game room.

US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP 
All campers MUST be a member of USA Lacrosse to attend our camps. The membership will cover his insurance for any off season program you enter, for one year. Plus you get Lacrosse Magazine! You must be a current member of USA Lacrosse that expires on or after 7/31/2024. To renew or get a membership, go to www.usalacrosse.com

RENTAL EQUIPMENT
All players must have their own stick to participate in camp. Send the Director an email if you are in need of rental gear.

Our camp has rental equipment that you can use for any of our summer camps except the goalie camp. 

We supply all the equipment that you will need to participate except a stick and your cleats, you must provide these.

We can supply the following equipment for you so you can participate in our camps.

We do have sticks and all equipment for sale in the camp store if you would rather purchase.

PARENT PARKING

Parking at CSU San Marcos requires a permit at all times if you leave your car. You will need to purchase a parking permit if you plan to watch any of the practices.
