THE BEGINNER CAMP

The camp begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 18th, on the campus of Cal State University, San Marcos. Check-in is between 5:00pm & 6:00pm. We only accept 8 players in this camp. We accept players in grades 5th thru 11th. Our Beginner Camp focuses on intensive instructional techniques in the fundamentals of lacrosse. You will learn how to cradle, cradle run, throw, catch, scoop and basic defense. You will work on these fundamentals and learn wall work drills you can take home to improve these skills. Players will have several sessions in Beginner specific fundamental drills and then will integrate into the main camp to finish out the week. Camp starts with beginner skills, then into individual fundamentals, transition skills, team skills and finishing with game play at the end of camp. This camp ends at 12:00pm on Sunday, July 12th.

ELIGIBILITY

Boys in grades 5th thru 11th. No experience necessary.

All players must be a member of USA Lacrosse.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

All campers must register online by clicking the RED BOX located at the TOP on this page. Registration includes the form filled out online and a deposit of $500 or full payment by MasterCard, American Express or Visa. A confirmation Email will be sent on receipt of your online registration as proof of payment. You will get another email with details 2 weeks prior to camp starting.

DEFENSE CAMP PLAYER CHECK-IN
Wednesday, July 8th, 2026, between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Check-out in on Sunday, July 12th at 12:00noon.

US LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP 
All campers MUST be a member of USA Lacrosse to attend our camps. The membership will cover his insurance for any off season program you enter, for one year. Plus, you get Lacrosse Magazine! You must be a current member of USA Lacrosse that expires on or after 7/31/2025. To renew or get a membership, Click Here

Our camp has rental equipment that you can use for any of our summer camps except the goalie camp. 

We supply all the equipment that you will need to participate except a cup and your cleats, you must provide these.

We can supply the following equipment for you so you can participate in our camps.
